Description
About ANSI #50-6 Roller Chains
CTS® ANSI #50-6 roller chain is a six-strand roller chain built to ANSI/ASME B29.1 on a 5/8" (15.875 mm) pitch — the highest capacity available in the ANSI #50 pitch. Six rows on one six-row #50 sprocket deliver 133.2 kN (29,964 lbf) minimum tensile in a single chain line, replacing up to six single-strand drives with one lubrication point and one take-up. It is interchangeable with other ANSI-certified #50-6 chains and standard six-row #50 sprockets.

Sprockets, Attachments, and Ordering
The #50-6 runs on six-row ANSI #50 sprockets. If the six-strand #50 roller chain capacity is more than you need, compare the ANSI #50-5 or ANSI #50-4 chain. Where space allows a larger pitch, the ANSI #60-4 is the alternative route to similar capacity. See the full range of ANSI #50 roller chains.
• Options: carbon steel / SS304 / SS316; shot-peened, black oxide, zinc or nickel plated; riveted or cottered joints; special attachments to drawing.
• Length: 10 ft (3.05 m) boxes, or cut to the exact link count for your centre distance.
• Documentation: dimensional drawing, material certificate, and batch tensile test report on request.
• Quotation: send the chain size, link count or centre distance, sprocket tooth numbers, duty, and environment.
