About 1008 Taper Lock Bushing
CTS® 1008 Taper Lock Bush
The 1008 is CTS's compact taper lock bushing for light-duty drives, designed for shafts from 1/2" up. At just 0.2-0.3 lbs with a 1,200 in-lbs torque capacity, it suits fractional-horsepower applications where space is tight and every ounce counts. The 1008 uses a single 1/4"-20 UNC installation screw (55 in-lbs wrench torque) and a 1-21/64" bolt circle, making it one of the fastest bushings to fit in the Taper Lock range. Machined from high-grade cast iron, it delivers the same easy-on/easy-off taper grip as larger CTS bushings, without the weight. Fully interchangeable with Fenner 1008, Martin 1008, and Browning 1008 taper lock bushings.
