About 2517 Taper Lock Bushing
CTS® 2517 Taper Lock Bush
The 2517 is CTS's first heavy-duty step in the Taper Lock range: a 3-3/8" A dimension, 1-3/4" B length, and an 11,600 in-lbs torque rating put it squarely in the territory of industrial gearboxes and large motor drives. It mounts with two 1/2"-13 UNC installation screws (430 in-lbs wrench torque) on a 3-1/4" bolt circle, and at 1.4-3.7 lbs, the cast iron body is built to hold large sprockets and pulleys under continuous, high-torque load. Despite its size, it keeps the same taper-lock simplicity: align, tighten, and the bushing grips the shaft concentrically with no keyway slop. Fully interchangeable with Fenner 2517, Martin 2517, and Browning 2517 taper lock bushings.
