About 1615 Taper Lock Bushing
CTS® 1615 Taper Lock Bush
The 1615 is CTS's workhorse mid-range taper lock bushing. With a 2-1/4" A dimension, 1-1/2" B length, 2-1/8" bolt circle, and 4,300 in-lbs torque rating, it comfortably handles the majority of standard industrial drives - motors, gearboxes, conveyors and fans - on shafts from 1/2" up. Two 3/8"-16 UNC installation screws at 175 in-lbs wrench torque provide a secure, vibration-resistant grip, while the cast iron body (0.6-1.3 lbs) is precision machined for concentric fit. Fully interchangeable with Fenner 1615, Martin 1615, and Browning 1615 taper lock bushings, so replacement stock is never a sourcing problem.
