XTB15 Bushing | Reliable Shaft Locking

If you are replacing an XT-system taper bushing on a small shaft, the XTB15 is the first size to consider. It is the smallest bushing in the XTB range: 2.875" outside diameter, 95 in-lb wrench torque, 0.7 lb. That makes it a practical choice for light drives - small conveyors, fans, pumps, and light agricultural equipment.

The XTB15 uses the XTB system taper of 2 inches per foot (1:6), steeper than QD (3/4" per foot) or Taper-Lock (1-1/2" per foot). It seats in XTH15 weld-on hubs, the hubs you weld onto a shaft to mount sprockets or pulleys. Because the taper is steeper, the bushing grips firmly with less bolt torque.
