About 1 Groove AK Sheave

An AK Sheave is a classical V-belt pulley designed for use with A-section V-belts. In North American industrial markets, “AK” typically refers to a single groove A belt sheave with a finished or pilot bore structure commonly used in light-duty industrial transmission systems.


Compared with narrow V-belt sheaves such as 3V, 5V, and 8V, AK sheaves are more economical and widely used in standard industrial machinery requiring moderate horsepower transmission.


Due to their simple structure, stable performance, and broad compatibility, AK sheaves are commonly used in agricultural equipment, HVAC systems, pumps, fans, and general machinery.
