About G Split Taper Lock Bushing

CTS® G Split Bushing

The G is the smallest split taper bushing in the CTS range - a compact cast iron bushing for fractional-horsepower drives on shafts from 3/8" to 1". With a 1.172" large-end OD, a 1-9/16" bolt circle, and an overall length of just 1", it fits tight envelopes where larger bushings will not. The split body grips the shaft evenly as the two 1/4" cap screws (95 in-lbs wrench torque) seat the hub down the taper, giving a concentric, keyed grip that is easy to install and remove. 

The G split bushing uses the industry-standard Browning-style split taper profile, so it is directly interchangeable with Browning G and Martin G split taper bushings, and fits standard split taper pulley, taper bore sprocket, or weld-on hub bored for a G.
